If you followed of this channel, you would probably know – That a few months ago – I posted a video about placing Aloe vera pups in a box For more than a month. I made that video to show that it is okay To mail aloe vera pups that would take a couple of weeks Or maybe up to a month of delivery time. Now, in this video, I will be putting again aloe vera plants in a box. But this time it is a little different. I will be using a potted aloe vera plants. That means, including the soil and the pots. This is just an experiment to find out how strong Aloe vera plant Against changing environmental conditions. And, in this experiment, The Aloe vera plants will be placed in a totally dark environment And without water for one month. This idea was also suggested by a viewer, More than a year ago. So, if any of you has in mind To experiment with the Aloe vera plant, Just write down in the comment section below. It has been one month since i put the plants in this box, So I am opening it now. I have not done this before, so I don’t know what to expect. So, here it is, You can see that the new leaves and pups are white, And this is caused by lack of sunlight. And if you look at the pups, They don’t even look like Aloe vera at all. The trunks are elongated and the leaves are almost totally white. One thing is sure, Aloe vera plant can survive in a box for one month. This boxing of Aloe vera plant is maybe or probably useful in some areas where there is severe winter condition. We don’t have winter here, so I cannot try this on actual winter. Those who live in a place where there is winter,
This is worth a try. Now, these plants have become very sensitive to sunlight, So I will be placing them in a well lighted area first But without direct sunlight And then wait for a week for the white parts to turn green again. So, it’s been a week, The plants are already turning green. I will start exposing these to the morning sun for about two weeks Then full sun onwards.
