In this video, I show you how to make a DIY Aloe Vera Leave in conditioner which also works as a great detangler for natural hair.
You will need:
1/2 cup of Aloe Vera Leave
1/2 cup of Water
1 tsp of Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 tsp of castor oil
1/2 tsp of Vitamin E oil
A few drops of Lavender oil.

Today, I want to share with you a Do-It-Yourself leave in conditioner that is also great for Detangling. The shine and softness it gives my hair is amazing. Here is the recipe and do comment below if you have any questions.
PURPOSE OF EACH INGREDIENT
Aloe Vera – Conditions hair, moisturizes and the slippery nature helps makes detangling easy
Extra Virgin Olive Oil – Promotes shine, smoothens hair, aids in moisturizing and softens hair
Castor Oil – Helps with hair growth, dry hair, seals moisture
Lavender Oil – For scent, promotes hair growth, helps with hair loss
Vitamin E Oil – Acts as an antioxidant and preservative to extend shelf life. Other options: Rosemary Oil, grapefruit oil or any antioxidants
PROCESS:
– Remove gel in the aloe vera leaf
– Blend the gel part
– Strain it to remove impurities. Use a fine strainer or a panty hose
– Add aloe vera to spray bottle
– Add water, olive oil, castor oil, lavender oil and vitamin E oil.
– Shake well.
SHELF LIFE: 2 weeks.

Hi everyone today I'm going to show you
how to make the Leave In conditioner and Detangler and it is so good and you
won't regret it And it gets your hair really moisturize
your curls popping and I'll show you two styles Can do with this Leave in. Now thank you

please ring that bell for this aloe vera Leave in Detangling conditioner you will
need these ingredients I normally buy my Aloe vera from the grocery store but if you
have the plant here is what you need to Do in order to properly drain the aloe
vera so to start off you want to have a Thick aloe vera leaf and then cut off
the ends of the other leaves because Those are not useful to you once you've
cut them up you want to cut the sides of It a prickly side and then you want to
cut the leaves into small pieces so this Is what the aloe vera gel looks like and
I'm going to show you two ways of Extracting this aloe vera gel . What
you first want to do is cut the aloe Vera leaf into two parts Once you do that you can use a spoon to
scoop out the gel from the leave. The second way is to use a knife when using
the knife you want to cut it very close To the aloe vera skin
and when you're cutting it Be very careful so that you don't cut
your hands and you want to make sure That you don't cut any part of the skin
because that is a little bit difficult To remove after you've cut the aloe vera gel out
of the skin after you've cut off all the Aloe Vera it's time to blend I usually blend mine in liquid form I want to Blend it until it as a liquid
consistency so no lumps or clumps next You want to strain the aloe vera
straining the aloe vera will remove all Impurities and it will remove any leave
particles that you actually attached While you're cutting and using a
spoon to gently massage the aloe vera in The strainer gives you all the aloe vera you
need so next we will be using a half cup of Aloe vera in our aloe vera leave-in
conditioner then you want to add half a Cup of water and then extra-virgin olive
oil one teaspoon of that next you want To add one teaspoon of Castpr oil, you
can use jamaican black castor oil like I Did then add in 1/2 a teaspoon of
vitamin E oil I love vitamin E oil for moisture then
lastly you add in some lavender oil for Scent and shake it really really well
now this aloe vera leave in detangler can Be used up to two weeks and you want to
keep it in the fridge always now you can
Store your leftover aloe vera in the ice
cube form what you do is that you get an Ice cube tray and put the aloe vera in
there cover it up and when it is froze And put it into a
zip lock bag or into a dish or bowl now Label the date that you froze the
aloe vera and this can be used for cuts And even in your smoothie so now it's
time to start my hair this is what my Hair looks it looks moisturize but it is
dry, people I just have a nice shine so What I'm going to do is I'm going to
section my hair into full workable parts After that I will spray a small amount
of the aloe vera in my hair now you can See the consistency is liquidy but it is
very slippery so it's a excellent slip This makes it a great detangler you can
also apply some to your scalp if you Have dandruff it's going to help you out
and you want to just put it in your hair And gently walk it through your hair you
can use your fingers and you can also Use comb So the first style I'm going to do is a
twist and curl so I'm just rope Twisting my hair if you don't know how to rope twist please click the card that just Popped up there
so after rope twisting my hair I will be Applying a perm rod to the end of my
hair to give it a nice coil now you can See the aloe vera really made my hair
really curly and because the moisture is There it's really moisturizing So after I've done all this I just need to make my head dries out and dries out Really well for the next morning when my
hair is dry it's time to unravel it so You can see oh geezs I dropped it but
now you can see how moisturize my hair After I've removed it the curls are
there because this acts as a moisturizer It also acts as a gel if you wanted to
have a more gel consistency reduce the Amount of water you use when you are
mixing the aloe vera leave in conditioner This mixture really helps my hair and
giving it the nice moisture value it Needs and my curls are popping you can
see it there and this is the style this Is the first style which is just a twist
and curl style at the back because I Always forget to show you guys the back
the next thought I'm going to do is just A simple Afro hawk look so I'm doing a
little bit in front just getting my Bobby pin and securing right in the
center of my hair and then I'm going to Do the same thing for the other side so
this is the second style that you're Seen and it's so simple to do especially
on days when you just want your hair Away from most of your face
So this look can be rocked by anyone
