[Music] This video is a step-by-step tutorial on How to propagate the leaf of the aloe Vera plant If you want to propagate the leaf of Aloe vera you have to cut the plant You cannot simply remove the leaves you Want to propagate without cutting the Plant or else the leaf will not produce Pops I showed in my previous videos that you Cannot propagate aloe vera leaves by Just normally harvesting or cutting them Off from the plant After cutting you can keep the bottom Part of the plant in the pot and let it Grow Pops in a few weeks Select the leaf that is still attached To the stem because the leaf can only be Propagated if it has a stem tissue Attached to it the first two leaves that I removed cannot be propagated because They are not attached to the stem Anymore except for that little part at The tip of the second Leaf which is not Enough for propagation The third Leaf however is still attached To the stem [Music] Sure that a part of the stem will go Along with it To do this you have to cut first the Part of the stem where the leaf is Attached

You can use a sharp little knife or you Can use a cutter this is the first time I used a cutter you can check in my Previous videos that I always use that Little knife Make sure the knife is sharp enough to Cut the stem in a circle Then carefully remove the leaf making Sure that a part of the stem will go Along as you cut it [Music] This is how it should look after Removing the leaf [Music] The rest of the plant can be planted Back in the soil it will grow roots in a Couple of weeks [Music] You can place the leaf in a well lighted Part of your house but no direct Sunlight I haven't tried placing the cut Leaf in direct sunlight and have it done Planting it directly so I'm not sure What will happen if I will try I'll probably do this in my next videos Place the leaf in a container and air Dry it This step is just waiting patiently Waiting for the pups to grow it will Usually show signs of growth after a Week and more visible in two weeks Foreign This is what it looked like after 10 Days the pups are showing up you don't

Need to water the leaves because it Already has enough water of its own to Support the pups when they grow [Music] The pups are getting bigger now but if You notice the root is not growing any Longer and no other route is growing Usually Roots will only grow longer when They are placed in the soil To plant the leaf simply put the leaf on Top of the soil no need to bury the leaf Let the root crawl deep down the soil I hope you learned something this is Danny and thank you for watching [Music]
