Today, I just want to talk about Why Aloe vera is confusing to some people And what makes it complicated
to identify the plant. There is only one Aloe vera
with two known varieties. It is just one of the more than 400 species, And these 400 species has almost
a thousand or more hybrids And all of them belong to the genus Aloe. While each of these Aloes is distinct
and look different from each other, There are a few Aloes that
look similar to Aloe vera Specially when they are still young, Which makes identifying Aloe vera difficult. And trying to find this Aloe
vera is made much more difficult Thanks to the thousands of
articles in the internet Who have made a complete mess. You can find articles making Aloe
vera the genus with so many species, Saying Aloe vera has many species, Like this website cactusway.com Writing about 15 facts you
didn’t know about Aloe vera, And then posted a photo of an Haworthia plant, It is not even an Aloe. It looks like an Aloe but not an Aloe, And definitely not Aloe vera. And down the article it says that
there are more than 400 species. You can also find articles talking
about the benefits of Aloe vera But showed a picture of a different Aloe. And these come from the
supposedly trusted websites. Like this oprahdaily.com Writing about Aloe vera does so much more
than just soothe sunburn And showed a picture of Haworthia,
Haworthia fasciata to be exact. Another website that writes about Aloe vera But showed a picture of Haworthia fasciata Is womens health magazine Goodhousekeeping.com writes about

How to take care of an Aloe
vera plant and keep them growing But posted a picture of Aloe polyphylla. Groomingartist.com writes about Aloe vera benefits But posted a tiger aloe instead of Aloe vera. There are hundreds or maybe thousands
of websites like these on the internet. For me, it is like talking about a tiger And showing a picture of a house cat, Or writing an article about foxes But showing a picture of a dog. They may belong to the same family, But they are different animals.
This is alse the reason why I fully understand when people get so confused With the plant Aloe vera. These are just my observations, You may have different views And I will appreciate it very
much if you can write them In the comment section below. Thank you for watching.
